Most days at River Palms Titusville start with a spectacular sunrise over Cape Canaveral and the Indian River. Manatees, dolphins, sharks, and fishes of all sizes can pass by as we look out at our riverside views. Some say it is like being on a cruise ship. We see blue sky and blue water with a thin strip of rocket launch towers on our horizon. If you are a bird lover, this is a wonderful place to live also. Ospreys, pelicans, and many other sea birds fly by or fish along our shoreline.

River Palms Titusville construction was just completed in 2023, built using the newest updated building codes mandated by the 2021 Surfside condominium collapse in south Florida. Our building is constructed with solid concrete poured beams, 8” thick floor slabs, full concrete block walls between units, and all doors are storm rated. Also, as a new property, the association is well funded.

The Canaveral National Seashore is just a few miles away. Also nearby is the famous Black Point Wildlife Drive on Merritt Island that features beautiful wildlife and bird watching. Our local beach is Playalinda, where one can relax oceanside in view of SLC 39A & B. It is one of the last beaches that is non commercialized in the state of Florida. Surf fishing is a favorite activity there. For unwinding, relaxing and listening to the waves, it does not get better than this. Kids have plenty of room to play as well. Be aware that there is limited or no cell phone service. There are also beach areas designated for those who are naturalists. Those areas have signs posted so you will not be surprised.

We are near many city and county parks with walking trails, hikes over bridges, and more than a few fishing piers. It is a short drive to the Port Canaveral cruise terminals, where you will find many waterside restaurants. In the afternoons, you can watch the big cruise ships sailing out while enjoying a great dockside meal. Cocoa Beach, Daytona Beach, and Orlando with all its major attractions are all short drives away.

Titusville remains a small town with little traffic but with all the necessities. Larger shopping and dining opportunities are 30 minutes or more away. One can go south to Viera and Melbourne, west on highway 50 to east Orlando's Waterford Lakes area, and continue west into the “worlds” of Orlando and its traffic.

When I first walked into my River Palms unit my jaw dropped. You see a full window of blue sky and water with Pads 39A & 39B directly across the river.
