This community riverfront park is equipped to service your recreational needs. Whether you're

looking for a boat ramp and dock, playground or dog-friendly park, you will find all that and

more here. Located along the Indian River Lagoon, shoreline fishing is available, as well as a

BMX bike course, skate park and picnic pavilions. Looking to rent a pavilion? Rentals are

available through Sandrift Community Center.

Sand Point Park

Sand Point Park is one of Titusville's community parks with the Astronaut Memorial located

near the south entrance to the park. Here you will find a half-mile exercise trail, baseball and

softball fields, playground and a splash pad. Facilities include picnic tables, picnic pavilions,

grills, and restrooms. A large pavilion equipped with a kitchen can fit up to 250 people.

Playalinda Beach, Canaveral National Seashore

Playalinda Beach is located inside Canaveral National Seashore, one of America's national parks.

It's an undeveloped beach known for its serene environment and pristine shoreline. This beach

lends itself to a premiere rocket launch location, but always check their website for the most upto-date info regarding launches. There is a $10 vehicle entrance fee, as well as an Apollo District

Visitor Center that is inside Canaveral National Seashore.

Parrish Park at Titusville

Located in Titusville on both sides of State Road 402, Parrish Park provides access to the Indian

River Lagoon for fishing and watersports. The park is equipped with paved and unpaved parking.

Only 10 miles from the closest launch pad, this is one of the top viewing sties on Florida’s Space

Coast.

Space View Park

Close to Downtown Titusville and only 15 miles directly across from the Kennedy Space Center

launch pads, Space View Park is the first and only park in America that honors astronauts and

the men and women who helped America lead the world in space exploration. Throughout the

park you can walk through the history of space and compare your handprints to those of Mercury

astronauts. This park is also a prime spot to watch a rocket launch as it offers a spectacular view.

William J. Manzo Memorial Park

Situated on the Indian River Lagoon, William J. Manzo Memorial Park is ideal for family fun.

This park includes a playground, picnic facilities and restrooms. Plus, it's well shaded by trees

and has a paved walkway and riverfront boardwalk. It is an excellent viewing venue for rocket

launches because the only thing between you and the launch itself is the Indian River Lagoon.

Rotary Riverfront Park

Rotary Riverfront Park is located along the Indian River Lagoon and features top amenities for

your day. Enjoy picnic pavilions with grills, a playground, fishing pier and observation deck,

perfect for rocket launch viewing. This public park is approximately 13 miles from the launch

complexes at Kennedy Space Center. Before or after the launch, be sure to check out nearby El

Leoncito for delicious Mexican food.

Port Canaveral Launch Viewing Locations

Kelly Park East

Located on the shores of the Banana River in central Merritt Island and adjacent to Port

Canaveral, Kelly Park East's paved walkway connects a medium size pavilion with amenities

including grills, restrooms, playground, horseshoe pits and volleyball courts. Additionally, there

are two small pavilions and picnic tables that provide picnicking by the river's edge. With the

waterfront view and facilities attracting numerous group gatherings through the spring and

summer season, advanced reservations are recommended.

Port Canaveral

Port Canaveral is a world-class cruise and cargo port located 45 minutes east of Orlando

International Airport. It's affectionately nicknamed 'Florida's Fun Port' and for good reason. No

port gets you closer to space exploration, family-fun adventure and one-of-a-kind waterfront

dining. Port Canaveral is home to The Cove, the port's entertainment district, featuring

shopping, dining and fishing charters. Home to several waterfront restaurants, visitors can enjoy

some of Florida's best seafood while watching fishing charters arrive and cruise ships depart.

Jetty Park at Port Canaveral

Jetty Park is a beautiful 35-acre park and is a well sought-after point of interest in all of Florida.

Guests can participate in a variety of activities such as surfing, kayaking, walking the beach,

riding bikes, and watching cruise ships. Vendors are located on the beach for all beach rentals,

which includes chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and kayaks. Jetty Park also offers a 1,200 foot

paved and lighted fishing pier for all fishing enthusiast. Pavilions are equipped with tables and

grills. Kids can also have fun at the playground complete with swings, monkey bars, slides and

much more. There is a $15 per vehicle entrance fee ($5 if you live on Florida’s Space Coast).

Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier

Alan Shepard Park

Named after Astronaut Alan Shepard, this oceanfront park has five acres worth of out-of-thisworld views, ideal for observing space and rocket launches. Enjoy a day of food and fun with

several pavilions, covered picnic tables, barbeque grills, and a playground all provided. Located

at the east end of State Road 520, Alan Shepard Park is perfect for a mini get-away and still close

enough to explore local popular retail shops in the area. Parking is $15 and there are over 300

parking spaces available for automobiles and recreational vehicles. Overnight parking for buses

not permitted.

Sidney Fischer Park

Sidney Fischer Park is a 10-acre, oceanfront park that's a family favorite. The park is an ideal

place for a picnic and a swim in the Atlantic Ocean. Roughly 200 parking spaces, picnic

pavilions and shower and restroom facilities are provided. The park was named after Sidney

Fischer, who served as the mayor of Cocoa Beach from 1956 to 1960. The parking fee is $15 for

cars and recreational vehicles. Buses and overnight parking are not permitted.

Lori Wilson Park

Located in the heart of Cocoa Beach is a seaside park lush with dunes and coastal hammocks.

Lori Wilson Park is the perfect place for a beachside picnic or family get-together, complete with

pavilions, a playground, and barbecue grills. Spend an hour, or all day, playing volleyball on the

public court, taking a nature walk on one of the six dune crossovers or boardwalk, or even enjoy

a refreshing dip in the Atlantic Ocean. With full-time lifeguards present, Lori Wilson Park is

ideal for a relaxed and enjoyable time by the water. Parking is free and the facility includes

restrooms, outdoor showers, water fountains, on-site vendors, and a dog park. Service animals

are allowed. Dogs are allowed specifically at the Dog Park, but are otherwise prohibited in the

park and on the beach. Alcoholic beverages are allowed in designated areas only.
